Rubber Bandy is a character who appears in the episodes "Super Sitters" in The Patrick Star Show and "Delivery of Doom" in SpongeBob SquarePants.

Description

She is an orange bandfish with yellow loops near the bottom of her body, as well as fins on her back and black sunglasses on her head.

Powers

• Elasticity: Much like the Elastic Waistband, Rubber Bandy can stretch and bend her body and limbs to incredible lengths.

Role in episode

Rubber Bandy is one of the babies at the Super Child Daycare. She is first seen stretching her body to reach a juice box, which she gives to Go-Woman. When SpongeBob and Patrick are leading the babies in calisthenics, Rubber Bandy stretches her arms out of control and accidentally hits the record player, speeding up the music. When SpongeBob and Patrick lead the babies in a battle, Rubber Bandy stretches her body around the Coral Creep and smashes him into a wall.

In the comic Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy in the Good Guy League versus the Bad Guy Society, Rubber Bandy joins Mermaid Man, Barnacle Boy, and Go-Woman in fighting Man Ray, the Dirty Bubble, the Coral Creep, and Exo-Woman.

Rubber Bandy later joins the rest of the cast in calling out SpongeBob and Patrick for starting the battles between the heroes and the villains.

• It can be presumed she is a reimagined version of the Elastic Waistband.
