Ted,^[1] also known as the man^[2] is a fish who first appears in the episode "Missing Identity" at the Diner.

Description

He is an olive-green fish, with lighter green fins. He wears a brown hat with a black stripe, a pale yellow shirt with a pocket to the right side, a teal tie, and brown pants with a gold buckle.

Role in series

"Missing Identity"

He appears at the Diner with the waitress in the opening. He is first seen starting to solve a crossword, but then realizes he lost his pen. However, the waitress offers her pen to borrow. SpongeBob then goes into the story of when he lost his name tag.

"Plankton's Army"

He sneezes at Plankton's "sky writing" causing it to disappear.

"The Sponge Who Could Fly"

He asks SpongeBob to untangle his phone cords.

"Best Day Ever"

He is about to leave the Recreation Center but SpongeBob angrily yells at him to sit down which frightens him.

"Giant Squidward"

He is seen on a bench until he sees the angry mob wanting to attack Squidward, and he joins with a torch.

"Bubble Buddy Returns"

He is seen at a bus stop and yells at Shiny for knocking his hat off.

"The Good Krabby Name"

He is one of the customers who SpongeBob, dressed in a Krabby Patty costume, advertises the Krusty Krab to.

"Krusty Koncessionaires"

He appears sitting next to Teen 7 in different sections of the stadium at the Low Tides concert.

"Lockdown for Love"

He is seen leaving the Krusty Krab while Mr. Krabs is searching for the Krabby Patty secret formula.
