Barbara is an anchor fish that works for the Bikini Bottom News. She first appears in the episode "The Krusty Sponge."
Description
In most of her appearances, Barbara is a salmon-colored fish with blonde hair, wearing a green dress, and she has long front teeth. In "Model Sponge" and "Smartificial Intelligence," she is lavender-colored with black hair. Unlike Bob, her last name has never been revealed.

Barbara and Clint co-host a parade downtown in Bikini Bottom, mentioning they have been doing this for 12 years. She comments on Patrick as he destroys the city, mistaking him for a parade balloon. She and Clint laugh before getting crushed by Patrick's foot. In this episode, she is named Midge.
