spongebob

SNICK was a Saturday night block that debuted on August 15, 1992, airing animated and live-action shows that were either aimed at older kids or were some of Nickelodeon's more popular shows at the time. While SpongeBob SquarePants made its debut in 1999 for Saturday mornings, it reran its first morning premiere on SNICK the same night.[4] Over a year later, the series became a temporary fixture of the Saturday night block on December 2, 2000[5] scooping up to 8:00pm timeslot from The Amanda Show[15] (which itself moved to 8:30pm.[5]) During early 2001, new episodes of season 2 and the final episode of season 1 were aired, leading to one of the series' earliest events.
